ACCA is an approved provider of the 350-hour CASAC Initial Standardized Curriculum, offering a structured, one-year training program that fulfills the educational requirements for eligibility for a CASAC-T (Trainee) Certificate in New York State. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:00–9:00 PM, allowing participants to complete required coursework while balancing work and other responsibilities. The program is organized into four required sections covering the scientific foundations of substance use and co-occurring disorders, clinical counseling practices, assessment and treatment planning, and professional, ethical, and legal responsibilities. All coursework is NYS OASAS–approved and delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experienced healthcare and addiction professionals, with instruction emphasizing applied learning through interactive lectures, discussions, assignments, and assessments.
