2026 Annual Youth Summit

Students from the around the Capital Region joined the Northeast Community Action Partnership and the Addictions Care Center of Albany on Thursday, March 5th for an interactive and informative summit focused on substance use disorder prevention and mental health.

Albany Mayor Dr. Dorothy Applyrs kicked off the summit with opening remarks followed by Dr. Stephen Dewey, , Renowned Neuroscientist, Author, and Professor, Vive 18 – Tomas Coverly, Speaker, Comedian, Illusionist and TV Host, Dream Team, Master Sargent Jessica Denegar – NY National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and the NYNG Challenge as well as many exhibitions by community partners.
