Vista House for Women
Safe, supervised housing and treatment program for women in the later-stages of recovery as well as treatment and support for their children.
ACCA is growing to extend its continuum of care to women. Vista House, a transitional residence, will have 22 beds and will provide shelter and care for 6 single women and 5 mothers with up to 11 children.
With help from counseling, education, and employment training programs, women will live in a healthy environment and maintain an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle. Life-skills training will be emphasized so that residents have the ability and confidence to secure employment and continue on the path of recovery within the community.
- Newly built 22-bed residence for 11 women and 11 children, ages birth to 10
- Average length of stay expected to be one to two years
- Women will live in a safe, healthy environment while keeping their families in tact
- Family treatment model
- Counseling children whose lives have been affected and who are at-risk
- Providing access to structured clinical programs
- On-site NYS licensed child care available
