Strong Families
The ACCA Strong Families Program provides current substance abuse information, group discussions, and parenting techniques and strategies that build stronger families. Participants will be introduced to the program which addresses parental roles, family life skills, and alcohol, tobacco and other drugs myths and facts. This workshop will familiarize participants with the Strong Families curriculum.

Bio:
Jennifer M. Vitkus, MA is a certified School Counselor who holds a Chemical Dependency Studies Certification from the Sage Colleges. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from the Russell Sage College and a Masters of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Sage. Jennifer has worked as a Prevention Manager and most recently as the Director of Community Education for the Addictions Care Center of Albany. She is also a professional trainer for the Center for Prevention and Professional Development.
