This training will address the issue of domestic violence and its relationship to the use of alcohol and other drugs. It will define domestic violence, discuss its prevalence and describe the dynamics associated with domestic violence. Resources, information and referrals for clients will also be distributed to participants of this training.

Bio:
Frank Pouliot, M.S., CASAC is the Professional Development Coordinator at Conifer Park in Glenville, New York. He has a Masters in Human Services Administration and is a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC). He has 22 years experience directing clinical programs in the field of mental health and addiction services and over eight years experience as a professional development trainer and facilitator of on-line and classroom curriculums. He is an adjunct professor at Schenectady County Community College, the College of St Rose, Empire State College and the University of Phoenix. He is also a faculty member of the NYS OASAS Academy of Addiction Studies. Frank has two wonderful children pursuing their professional careers and he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
